Plant Orders
Plants are dispatched by ordinary post, express post, or express courier - the contents of the order and distance to the destination determine the method of dispatch.
Our aim is to have the plants delivered as quickly as possible. This ensures your plants will always be in excellent condition when you receive them. We aim to please.
Minimum plant order of $10.00 per shipment. All pricing is in Australian dollars.
The following freight and packaging charges apply for each shipment.

Plants are generally sent in their pots. This is by far the best method to send most plants. Some plants may be sent as dormant roots or bare rooted. Bare-rooted plants will have excess soil removed from the roots which are placed in a moisture retaining media and then wrapped in plastic and placed in a 100 ml pot. Handling and packing charge - $2.00 / plant.
Plants to WA
Plants are no longer dispatched to Western Australia. Seed permitted by WA Department of Agriculture and Herbology Magazine are still available to WA. Our seed list is in the Plants menu and Herbology may be found in the Publications menu.
Plants to Tasmania
We are permitted to send to Tasmania only dormant roots, deciduous dormant plants and seed. See list of Deciduous Dormant Plants.
Seed Orders
Seeds only orders will be forwarded by post and attract a freight and handling fee of $5.00.
Seed orders as part of a plant order will be dispatched with the plants with no additional fee for postage and handling.
Other Products
Non-plant orders attract a flat fee of $10.00 per order, except individual books and other publications which have post and handling itemised. Seed as part of another order is dispatched with no additional fee.
Pick-Up
The pick-up of pre-ordered, prepaid plants can be arranged.
Dispatch
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 weeks after the order is received. If there is to be a delay, we contact you to advise of the expected dispatch time. Plants are always dispatched early in the week.
Out of Stock / Substitutes
Although we strive to maintain sufficient levels of stock, there may be times when we are unable to completely fill your order. Please include a list of subsubstitute plants and/or specify whether you prefer a credit or refund. No backorders.
