Orders - General

Freight for your whole order is calculated at the checkout

No plants dispatched internationally. Seed, dried herb other products are available to overseas customers.

No plants to Western Australia or Tasmania. All other other items may be sent to these states.

Pricing is in Australian dollars. Payment of international orders is by credit card only.

Pick up is available for local orders from the BP Service Station at Mapleton - option available at checkout.

Orders - Dispatch

Confirmed orders received by noon Friday are usually dispatched the following week and within 2 weeks when delayed. Plants are always dispatched early in the week.

Plant Orders

Plants are dispatched early in the week following confirmation (payment) of order.

Orders of 1-18 plants are sent by Australia Post. Pots are individually wrapped and secured inside shipping cartons.

Orders greater than 18 plants are sent by courier. Pots are stood upright in enclosed cartons.

Plants are usually sent in their pots. Some species may be sent as dormant roots or bare rooted. This will be specified, otherwise plants will be sent in pots.

Handling and packing charge of $2.00/potted plant applies to orders of less than 18 plants. This charge is in addition to the freight cost, but does not apply orders dispatched by courier.
 
The following freight charges apply for each plant shipment

Cost of courier delivery will depend on the area of delivery. The range of charges, given, is an indication possible cost. At the checkout the dearest price will be charged, however, we will manually adjust this charge to match the actual delivery address.

Seed Orders

Seeds (only) orders are forwarded by post. Freight and handling fee of $5.00/order applies for 1-6 seed packets. Orders of 7-12 packets are charged $6.50. Orders of greater than 12 packets are charged a fee of $8.00.

International seed orders are sent by air mail, the fee being $8.00/order of less than 4 packets, $14.00/order of less than 16 seed packets and $20/order of up to 33 packets. Orders of greater than 33 packet will be charged $30.00.

Seed as part of another order are included with no extra charge.

Other Products - Domestic

Non-plant/seed orders attract a flat fee of $10.00 per order, except particular publications, which have post and handling included. Seed as part of another order is dispatched with no additional fee.

Other Products - International

Non-plant/seed orders are dispatched by air mail at actual cost plus packing.
The freight shown at the checkout is $30, but this will be manually adjusted to actual cost plus packing.

Christmas / New Year

Last plant orders before Christmas are dispatched the 2nd week of December.

This year last orders, containing plants, dispatched before Christmas need to be received, and paid for, by Friday, 6/12/2013.

Dispatch of orders will re-commense on Monday, 13/1/14.

Our office closes Friday, 20/12/13 and re-opens Monday, 6/1/14.
