DescriptionGinkgo is also known as Maidenhair Tree and Golden Fossil Tree Ginkgo is a slow growing tree with beautiful leaves. A tincture from the leaves is beneficial assisting peripheral circulation and enhancing production of “alpha waves” in brain. Improves concentration, relieves nervous stress and valued as an antioxidant. Approved by German Commission E as a remedy for tinnitus and vertigo. Some authorities suggest that an extract from the leaf may also be a cure for Parkinson’s Disease and Attention Deficit Disorder. Ginkgo is native to China and is adaptable to most soils and positions. Frost resistant but drought tender. A deciduous tree, growing to 40m x 7m.
