DescriptionGoji Berry is a tonic herb, the dried fruit strengthens the liver and kidney. A specific treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis. Nourishes the vital essence. In Asia the leaves and berries are added to soups, rice dishes and drinks. Makes good raisins. Goji is native to China and prefers light to medium, well-drained soils in an open, sunny position. Produces showy purple and yellow funnel shaped flowers in summer. Frost resistant but drought tender. An evergreen shrub, growing to 3.5m x 2m. | |||||||
