DescriptionThis is the official Arnica which is the basis for many homeopathic remedies, salves etc. Traditional European folk use of flowers as a poultice to relieve pain and reduce inflammation of of sprains and bruises. European Arnica is also known as Leopardsbane and Mountain Tobacco European Arnica is indigenous to Europe and Canada. An alpine plant, it prefers peaty loams in a cool, shady position. Produces aromatic yellow flower heads in spring and summer. Frost resistant but drought tender. A perennial plant, growing to 0.6m x 0.6m.
