Dark green glossy leaves that taste like mushrooms. Chlorophyll rich leaves of Mushroom Plant are higher protein than mushrooms and also rich in Vitamins A and C, calcium and iron. Use in salads, cook in stir fries, quiche etc. Mushroom Plant prefers moist, rich well-drained soils in a protected sunny to part-shade position. Ideal to grow in a pot or in a patio garden. Drought and frost tender. A perennial plant, growing to 0.6m x 0.3m.
