DescriptionAztec Sweet Herb is an excellent tea herb in its own right or excellent as a sweetener in combination with other herbs. A natural sweetener. In Mexico, the tea of the leaf is traditionally used as an expectorant and stimulant. Aztec Sweet Herb is also known as Mayan Mint and Ozozuz. Aztec Sweet Herb is native to Central America and prefers rich moist soils in a protected partially shaded to sunny position. Drought tender, frost hardy once established. Perennial ground cover growing to 0.25m x 0.40m.
