Description

Lesser Periwinkle is known as Violet of the Sorcerers. In ancient Europe a twig at the entrance of a home was thought to ward off evil spirits and witches. Herb processes astringent and sedative properties. Excellent groundcover for shaded areas. Lesser Periwinkle is native to Europe and suitable for most soils and positions. Frost and drought resistant. Evergreen creeper, spreading to a distance of 3.0m with a height of 0.1m. Pink, blue or white trumpet shaped flowers in summer.
