DescriptionWarm camphor scent that is both refreshing and healing. This is not the tree of biblical note, but a multi-stemmed, densely growing bush. Aromatic foliage used in pot pourri and as a base for herbal tea. Balm of Gilead is native to the Canary Islands and North Africa and prefers a moist, rich soils in a sunny to part shaded position. Drought and frost tender. Herbaceous perennial to 1.0m x 1.0m.
