DescriptionCancer Bush is also known as Afrikaans The bitter, aroma.tic leaves are used as a tonic and panacea. Also used to treat cancer. The balloon like seed capsules are attractive in dried flower arrangements - a horticultural oddity. Cancer Bush is native to South Africa and prefers light dryish soils in an open, sunny position. Red-Orange flowers appear in spring. Drought and frost resistant. A perennial shrub, growing to 1m x 0.6m.
