DescriptionCatmint is an attractive herb to cats, being a cross between Nepeta nepetella and Nepeta racemosa. Traditionally used in Europe as a strewing herb. Similar uses to catnip. Catmint is native of the Arabian peninsula and prefers light to medium, well drained soil in a protected, partially shaded position. Lavender blue flowers occur in terminal whorls. Drought resistant but frost tender. It is a perennial plant, it growing to 0.3m x 0.45m.
