Japanese Indigo, Polygonum tinctorium, is sometimes known as Dyer’s Knotweed. The traditional source of blue dye used to colour Japanese clothing. Japanese Indigo prefers moist soil in a protected and shaded position. Annual to 75cm. Pink or white flowers.
