Pine Nut is sometimes known as Italian Stone Pine. The source of the rich nuts widely used in Mediterranean dishes. May be grown as a handsome ornamental pot specimen. Pine Nut is a native to the north and east Mediterranean region. Prefers light textured, acid soils in an open, sunny position. Drought and frost tender. An evergreen tree, growing to 25m x 4m.
