Garlic Chives, Allium tuberosum. are used in a similar manner to Chive, except the leaves have a garlic flavour. The greens are a culinary spice, being rich in vitamins. and minerals. Cultivation: Native of Europe and Asia. Adaptable to most good garden soils. Prefers and open, sunny position. Drought and frost resistant. A perennial plant, growing to 0.25m x 0.25m. Pink to lavender flowers in late spring and autumn.
