Description
Helichrysum, Helichrysum angustifolium, is also known as Everlasting and Curry plant. The elegant silver-grey leaves of Curry Plant are used to impart curry like flavour to soups and vegetables. The ancient Romans used the leaves as a moth repellent. Source of uplifting essential oil widely used in perfume manufacture and aromatherapy. A pretty edging plant. Cultivation: A native of central Europe. Adaptable to most soils and positions, but prefers dryish and fast draining soild in the full sun. Clusters of bright yellow flowers in summer. Drought and frost resistant. A perennial evergreen plant, growing to 0.3m x 0.2m.
