Description
Salad Burnet, Sanguisorba minor, is sometimes known as Small Burnett. Each season Salad Burnet produces a basal rosette of edible salad greens which are heart tonic and astringent. Salad Burnet is native to Europe, Asia and North America. An herbaceous perennial that prefers full sun and can tolerate poor and dry soil. Pinkish white flowers to 30cm. Seed offered is a wild form, unselected.
