Sea Buckthorn plant, Hippophae rhamnoides, bears copious orange berries. Rich in vitamins A and C, amino acids and anti oxidants. Excellent sun block is produced from the oil of the seeds. Handsome silvery leaves. Sea Buckthorn plant is native to Europe and Asia and prefers light textured soils in a sunny position. Frost resistant but drought tender. A dioecious, deciduous small tree or spiny shrub, growing to 10m x 3m.
