Description
Sea Buckthorn, Hippophae rhamnoides, produces copious orange berries. Rich in vitamins A and C, amino acids and anti oxidants. Excellent sun block is produced from the oil of the seeds. Handsome silvery leaves. Sea Buckthorn is native to Europe and Asia, preferring light textured soils in a sunny position. Frost resistant but drought tender. A deciduous tree, growing to 10m x 3m.
