Description
Musk Plant, Iboza riparia, is also known as: River Plume Bush, Nutmeg Bush and Moschosm. An attractive and compact ornamental shrub. The leaves are a velvety grey-green in colour with mauve pink flowers occurring in winter. Bees are attracted to the aromatic, spicy and fragrant flowers. Plant in outdoor areas to repel mosquitoes. Popular in pot pourri. Musk Plant is a native of tropical South Africa and prefers rich, moist, well-drained soils in a protected, partially shaded position. Drought and frost tender. An evergreen shrub, growing to 1.5m x 1m.
