Noni plant, Morinda citrifolia, is also known as Indian Mulberry. All parts of this small tree possess medicinal properties – the main effect being to modulate the immune system. The juice has been widely promoted as an anti-cancer agent. Noni roots have painkilling and sedative effects. Noni plant is native to south- east Asia and is adaptable to most well-composted, well-drained soils. Drought and frost tender. An evergreen tree, growing to 7m x 3m.
